I build systems that compound.

I'm a software engineer working at the intersection of AI, healthcare, and high-leverage tooling. I care about making real workflows faster, safer, and a little more delightful.

About

I'm a software engineer focused on building systems that remove friction from real-world workflows. My work sits at the intersection of AI, healthcare, automation, and infrastructure — from eligibility verification tooling and secure patient communication systems to quantitative analytics platforms and physics simulations.

I'm especially interested in high-leverage software: tools that save time, scale operations, and compound in value as they grow. Lately I've been building automation systems for clinical workflows, experimenting with privacy-focused AI products, and developing infrastructure-heavy personal projects to deepen my understanding of distributed systems and simulation.

Outside of engineering, I spend a lot of time thinking about startups, operational scale, and how thoughtful software can turn repetitive work into intelligent systems.

TradeSense dashboard showing live ticker analytics and composite signal scores

Featured · 2026

TradeSense

Quant-style market intelligence for retail traders.

A market analytics platform that ingests live and historical data, scores tickers with composite quant signals, and surfaces trade ideas with transparent reasoning. Built end-to-end with a streaming data layer and a clean trader-facing UI.

  • Composite scoring across momentum, volatility, and fundamentals
  • Streaming pipeline with sub-second updates on watched tickers
  • Backtest harness with deterministic replays for signal validation
  • Next.js
  • TypeScript
  • Python
  • PostgreSQL
  • Redis

Physics engine demo showing stacked rigid bodies and constraint visualizations

Featured · 2025

Physics Engine

From-scratch 2D rigid-body engine with constraints and collisions.

A real-time 2D physics engine written from scratch — broad-phase collision detection, sequential impulse constraint solver, and a small demo playground for stacking, ropes, and joints. Built to deeply understand simulation, numerics, and game-loop architecture.

  • Custom broad-phase with sweep-and-prune for O(n log n) pair pruning
  • Sequential impulse solver with warm-starting for stable stacks
  • Deterministic fixed-timestep loop decoupled from rendering
  • C++
  • OpenGL
  • GLFW
  • ImGui
CipherCare encrypted patient assistant interface

Featured · 2026

CipherCare

Privacy-first AI assistant for sensitive clinical conversations.

An end-to-end encrypted patient-facing assistant that lets clinicians extend support without exposing PHI to general-purpose models. Combines local pre-processing, encrypted context windows, and audited retrieval over de-identified records.

  • End-to-end encryption with local-only PHI tokenization
  • Auditable retrieval pipeline over de-identified embeddings
  • Role-based access and consent-scoped session memory

Insurance verification automation result view showing structured eligibility output

Featured · In Progress

Insurance Verification Automation

Availability-first eligibility workflow (in progress).

An in-progress Python automation tool focused on fast insurance availability checks and structured local summaries. Current implementation is Availity-first with SQLite + CSV persistence, with portal abstractions in place for future expansion.

  • Availability-first flow with clear extension points for additional payer bots
  • Normalized eligibility fields persisted to SQLite with CSV reporting output
  • Optional PDF upload workflow to patient documents; EHR write-back is planned
  • Python
  • Typer
  • Playwright

Experience

  1. May 2024 — Present

Psychiatric Office Manager · Alliance Psychiatric Group

    Irvine, CA

    • Manage daily clinic operations including scheduling, insurance verification, patient intake, and coordination for 100+ patients weekly.
    • Work directly with EHR systems, payer portals, and authorization workflows across multiple insurance providers.
    • Improved operational turnaround time by streamlining intake, billing coordination, and documentation processes.
    • Developed firsthand understanding of healthcare workflow bottlenecks that later informed automation and AI tooling projects.
  2. 2026 — Present

Freelance Software Engineer · Meridian Billing

    Remote

    • Designed and developed a production medical billing website focused on credibility, responsiveness, and patient/provider trust.
    • Built modern frontend architecture using Next.js, React, and Tailwind with responsive multi-device support.
    • Implemented service-focused UX flows, contact systems, and scalable deployment infrastructure using Vercel.
    • Collaborated directly with stakeholders to iterate on branding, messaging, and operational requirements.
  3. 2026 — Present

Freelance Web Developer · WholeCare Health

    Remote

    • Developed and deployed a production website for a private psychiatry practice using Next.js, React, and Bootstrap.
    • Built patient-focused workflows including intake/contact forms, insurance information pages, and responsive navigation.
    • Worked directly with clinic leadership to improve UX, accessibility, and patient communication flow.
